The Thing!
What is The Thing? No spoiler alert here, you just need to shell out the $1 and see for yourself. I can't really explain it, it's that weird. There is a random mishmash of cool things in each of the three buildings, so there is someThing for everyone. Bonus, there are The Thing t-shirts as well as other paraphernalia.
[Ali, 01/26/2013]This is a great place for some family fun! We spent 2 hours eating lunch, filling the gas tank, shopping, and of course the tour! The "Thing" is very cool! My husband and I and our two teenage girls left in a much better mood than when we arrived!

I'm the type of person who will stop to see a giant ball of yarn just to say I've been there. But even if I weren't that type, The Thing is still worth the look. It's not just The Thing you will see, but other items and oddities. In fact...(I'm a 39 year old man)...a couple of the oddities still give me a sense of unease....not so much the artifacts themselves...but the fact that someone had to create them. Seriously, worth the trip -- and it's just off the highway.
[Larry T., 02/29/2012]Hitler's alleged car is worth the dollar admission. Gift shop did not seem to have "The Thing?" Tshirts when I stopped by.
[Gibbs Saad, 09/02/2011]The Thing?
Each oddity is a great photo op. This is a great place to stretch your legs. The $1 admission fee is extremely fair for the weirdness you will witness. The Thing? also has a fabulous selection of authentic American Indian art and jewelry.
