After a visit to the nearby Tee Pee Motel we ran into a great big green dinosaur at the entrance to "Dinosaur Park" in downtown Wharton. I think it's a brontosaur. Very friendly looking fellow. It's facing the river south of town. Don't know how long it's been here, but it looks pretty old and in need of a new coat of paint. But given that the park seems named after him he doesn't seem in too much danger.
