A moose wrapped in Christmas lights? Heck yeah, it's worth a stop!

This moose was much bigger than expected and is a nice break from the cows, chickens, and elephants that seem to be much more common. Was even cool at night!

Just another animal statue, but it's big (at least 15 feet tall), a type of critter I've never seen before (a moose), and it's in a weird place (out behind Bucko's restaurant, near the drive-thru menu). Bucko's bought the moose from a closed restaurant at Heritage USA in 1996 and originally installed it out front. Mooresville officials immediately objected and much wrangling ensued. I'm not sure exactly how things worked out, but evidently a compromise let the moose stay if it moved out back.
