The state website stated that you need to call the Massachusetts Division of Forests and Parks (508-644-5522) for an appointment to visit the museum. The woman on the phone said that she wasn't opening it. I asked her if there was a date that it will open, and she said no. So it is effectively closed.
[Chris Holt, 07/02/2021]Nice view of river and park area, small white building with rock locked inside. I have never visited this site when the door was open, but I saw the rock before it was removed from the river years ago.

We called the number and were told that the museum is still closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, and that it isn't yet known when it will reopen. But the closure isn't permanent.
