The house next to the VW Beetle Spider is called Raven's Croft and it is one of the most historical buildings in town. A drawing of this building is in the Royal Ontario Museum. The building is now owned by the local artist who built the spider. He also had a black skeleton hanging next to his mailbox, but due to complaints it was removed at around the time of the BLM protests.

Driving along Highway 401, just to the east of Port Hope, if you look to the south you will see the wonderful beetle perched atop a post. Visible from the road, not sure about who owns the place.
