It is really hard and somewhat dangerous to pull off here to take photos, but there is a better access point to the west, on the other side of the creek. Instead of going south on 625 E, continue west on US 36 and turn south on the next road, 575 E. Then turn east on Broyles Road and follow it downhill. It goes under the bridge on the other side of the creek and there is parking nearby. It is a neat looking bridge, slightly creepy if you climb the stairs and look through the hole in the door.

Avon's Haunted Bridge has been there since I can remember. I'm 57. The entrance is boarded up now, but there's a pathway in the center that runs from one end to the other. I've been in rooms inside the pillars where hobos hide, and at night you can hear a baby cry when the train passes.
