It took almost 33 years, but the Jonestown cult finally has a memorial. Four flat granite panels have been placed atop the mass grave of 409 of its victims, engraved alphabetically with names of all 918 of its casualties, including cult leader Jim Jones. The memorial was spearheaded by one of Jones' sons. A rival memorial had been planned since the 1990s -- without Jones' name -- but it never attracted enough funding (or approval from the cemetery) to be built.

Not quite 36 ft. long, but interesting either way. It is located in the Garden of Remembrance by the mausoleum.
