The size of a V-2, it's every kid's incendiary noisemaker fantasy. The adjacent fireworks store burned down in July 2014, but the charred rocket still stands.

The rocket is all rust-colored now. If you follow the edge of the parking lot, you can drive almost all the way to the rocket. There is a cute little BBQ lunch place.
[Laura H, 07/26/2025]The fireworks store is closed but the "rocket" is still there, in a lot that looks deserted. The rocket is in serious need of repair.
[Bette, 08/24/2023]August, 2022: Rusty rocket, Ferris wheels, and castle remain, along with a (seasonal, I guess) fireworks tent and Smokin' Butts BBQ shack. The area around the rocket is lightly roped off and includes several shipping containers. The BBQ was good but not fast. Interesting stop.

A "who could've predicted?" explosion destroyed the fireworks business nearly 10 years ago and burned the rocket. Impressive that it still stands.
