Ono, California: Ono Shoe Tree
A northern California tree has been blessed (or blighted) with scores of pairs of shoes. The highway department cut it down in 2011, but a new shoe tree blossomed in 2018.

Shoe Tree with accompanying chairs, sofa, guitar, and golf clubs, to name a few items. This was a surprise as I was looking for a tree with shoes, stopped because of all the other items, and then noticed the shoes.

Still here in January, before the big snowstorm. This is a little-used road through some beautiful ranch country. I counted 18 wild hogs in a pasture above some cows. It would be a beautiful motorcycle ride.

Welcome to a new shoe tree located in far northern California. I first noticed this shoe tree in Feb 2005 and placed a geocache here. The tree started with about 10 pairs of shoes but now is up to 100 pairs as of 4-1-2009. Come by and toss a pair!
