We arrived at two minutes before the hour, and Victoria did not appear on the hour. My wife asked at the neat little stationary shop right beside the clock (which keeps a couple of biographies of Woodhull in stock) and they said that the clock usually goes off five minutes before the hour.

I stopped by a few weeks ago to see the Victoria Woodhull Clock, and she is now wearing a Covid-19 mask that appropriately had the word "Vote" multiple times on it. I thought that was clever.
