This must be happening at wax museums across the country. We noticed the slowly spinning entrance display at the Fisherman's Wharf Wax Museum featured a hastily assembled Michael Jackson shrine. At the figure's feet were a couple of votive candles, photos and bouquets of flowers.
The crowd was surging in too close for moonwalking photo ops, but plenty of tourists were determined to pose with the newly dead pop superstar. Two other figures were on spinning display, including President Obama, who wasn't getting much attention this week.
