Nine feet tall and 750 pounds; a life-size Bigfoot. Carved from a massive cedar log in 1992 and stolen, briefly, in 1994. Bigfoot sightings are common in this part of the California Sierra, especially in Tuolumne County.

Stopped at the chainsaw-carved Bigfoot statue on the way to Bridgeport/Bodie, CA. It's an interesting treat if you're a Bigfoot fan like my boyfriend.
