At some point in the last six years the tanks have been repainted to masquerade as giant Coca-Cola products rather than Pepsico products. Perhaps this is due to the suits at the Carl's Jr. negotiating a deal with Coke instead of Pepsi (Pepsi's management staff needs to get their act together on this).
I can confirm that the Carl's Jr. does serve Coke rather than Pepsi products. In addition, this particular Carl's Jr. proudly proclaims that it has been awarded the best Carl's Jr. in the state of Utah for the past nine years running. The change in soda can tank decoration does not seem to have affected their apparently stellar efficiency levels.

The soda cans are next to a decent gas station with a Carl's Jr. We stopped for a quick break, and my son enjoyed checking out the cans. They don't smell the greatest, but a good photo-op nonetheless.

The giant cans are apparently fuel or oil storage tanks. It doesn't smell that great if you're downwind, and standing close means walking across some sticky substance on the asphalt parking lot.
Otherwise, the giant soda cans look great.

There are 4 giant soda cans in the parking lot of a Super 8 motel in Salina, UT right off of I-70: a 7-Up, a Dr Pepper, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi. They're gigantic, nearly as tall as the motel sign.
