This TV-themed sculpture park has expanded greatly since I last visited several years ago. Started in 1991 with a few sculptures in an open courtyard in front of the Academy's North Hollywood location, it now contains over 50 busts, five full size statues, a giant Emmy award water fountain, and many oversize wall reliefs. All are depicting personalities related to the history of Television -- actors, comedians, national news broadcasters, sports announcers as well as some famous names that worked behind the scenes.
A plaque, dedicated in 2011, describes the history of this sculpture park and claims that new art work will continually be added.
