World's Largest Rubber Stamp
The Big Rubber Stamp with the word "FREE" on it is a creation of artist Claes Oldenburg (1929-2022), who sculpted giant versions of everyday objects that turn up in public parks and on city sidewalks.

Once you find a place to park in downtown Cleveland, the Rubber Stamp is an enormous pleasure! Sadly, it's a bit too big to get a classic "trying to hold the giant object" shot. If you're already in Cleveland (especially at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, which is only two blocks away), it's something fun to see.

Sohio, an oil company, was sold to BP, which thought that a "FREE" stamp might send the wrong message. So the stamp was given to the city, which moved it to a nearby park, but cleverly angled the "FREE" to point directly at BP's offices.
