Aloha, Oregon: Harvey The Giant Rabbit

Harvey The Giant Humanoid Rabbit is still standing on the south side of Hwy 8. There's room for a car to pull over in from of Harvey Marine, but difficult to get a "full body" photo from that close. You might get a full shot from the north side of the highway, if you get a break in traffic.

Harvey the Rabbit is still located outside Harvey Marine.

Harvey Marina giant figure -- Rabbit or Muffler Man? I would be inclined to believe he's a Muffler Man in rabbit's clothes. I haven't been to see him in several years. In my youth, numerous beer-adled hours were whiled away with friends, dreaming up schemes to equip him with an appropriately-sized male member. To my best knowledge, no action was taken by this particular group of people. But we did scrutinize him fairly closely at the time. Not knowing at the time what a Muffler Man was, we speculated that he was originally some kind of "Gas Station Man" because of the uniform-looking outfit he had. The only thing that looked like a rabbit/bunny was his head, which was obviously and amateurishly fabricated...the rest was definitely human in form.

Wayne and Cheryl Mason relate this hallucinatory vision: a Muffler Man with the head of a rabbit! "It was at this place called Harvey's," Wayne recalls with a yawn. "It was in some town near Portland, I think." Wayne was not sufficiently motivated to investigate the MM's rear for a cottontail, but hopes on this end are high.
