On our way back to California we visited the Peter Wolf Toth Whispering Giant in Las Cruces (for the fifth time). The sculpture is in the Apodaca Park. and is still in excellent condition. What a wonderful tribute to the Native Americans. Thank you, Peter Wolf Toth.

A large Statue of Apache chief Geronimo was carved by the artist Peter Toth. The New Mexico statue is one of his in-every-state series. Sits on a custom stand in the city park, and is maintained by the city park crews.
