[Passepartout22, 07/06/2009]This is kind of like a smaller version of the landlocked ship in the Shelburne Museum. In Brookfield as you travel along Ridge Road, not far from the floating bridge, you will come across a small opening surrounded by trees. You will see a dock in this opening and then a landlocked boat at the end of the dock with something missing. Water.
It looked as if the owners were told by a higher power that the world would flood once again and they should prepare. This is located on private property but can be seen from the road very easily.
