Since his death, the star located on Hollywood's famous Walk of Fame has become an impromptu memorial to the Pop Icon. Fans from all over the world are stopping by to pay their respects and have their pictures taken. Many have left flowers and personal messages to convey their condolences. The sidewalk is packed all day long with large numbers of fans.
