Is it just a line of ten junker Cadillacs buried nose-down in a littered, dusty farm field -- or is it art?

Cadillac Ranch
To actually get to the cars you need to walk about 50 yards or so across the field... It's hard to get a good photo if it's raining and gray just from the street, so be sure to bring boots or your feet will get so muddy walking to the cars!

Interactive (and FREE) art installation. You can bring spray paint, or just finish off one of the many cans people have left behind. It was a bit sad and disappointing to see all the trash behind. Pick up after yourselves people!

Not fancy but legendary! Easy to find just off the highway and free short walk out to these half-buried monuments. People swarming, spray painting and admiring others' work.

I have wanted to visit this for years and I finally did. It was so much fun making some legal graffiti. Other reviewers had talked about how much trash there was, and there was some, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was, however, FREEZING cold, and so windy -- but that didn't stop us from leaving our mark. I already want to go back and do it again! Don't forget to buy your paint to take with you. We got ours at the Home Depot just up the road.
