When I was a kid we called this, "The Lace Building." It's the only Bahai House of Worship in the U.S., and it's on the National Register of Historic Places. The gardens are lovely. It is full of symbolism, open to the public, and very enchanting.

This amazing temple is both huge and beautiful. It is the headquarters for the Baha'i House of Worship for the North American Continent. It is one of only seven such temples in the world. It is surrounded by fountains and colorful gardens. You do not have to be a member of the faith to tour the grounds or enter the structure. They are doing some construction on the outside of the structure so some of the gardens are closed.
