It's a 200-foot-high functioning water tower, with a glass elevator up to three observation decks overlooking the Illinois River.

Park with an unusual 200-ft. tall Observation Tower that takes you up to a lookout over the river and the beautiful estates along Grand View Drive. There is a large woodpecker hanging on the side of the tower.
For a minimal fee you can take the Willy Wonka type elevator up to the top. Could be too hot in the elevator on a sunny day.
