As another user noted, the rock is there but plaque has been removed/stolen.
[Michael Frechen, 04/06/2021]Looks like the rock is there, but the plaque has been removed.
[Scott J Bianchi, 12/05/2020]Music fans take note: this monument is referenced in the 2012 novel "Pop Kids" and is said to stand in front of a long-abandoned hotel that later burns down (which makes far more sense than plying that particular trade in an office building). The book's author, Davey Havok, grew up in Ukiah.

In the city of Ukiah is a memorial in front of what is now an office building consisting of a bronze plaque on a granite boulder which pays tribute to the prostitutes who once plied their trade on this spot. It is located on a side street (Church Street, how appropriate) off of South State Street, approximately one block south of the County Courthouse. Ukiah is located approximately 120 miles north of San Francisco on highway 101.
