The rock has been moved to corner of State and Church Sts. The plaque is in place.

[Scott J Bianchi, 12/05/2020]Music fans take note: this monument is referenced in the 2012 novel "Pop Kids" and is said to stand in front of a long-abandoned hotel that later burns down (which makes far more sense than plying that particular trade in an office building). The book's author, Davey Havok, grew up in Ukiah.
