World's Largest Penny
The World's Largest Penny [may have] been relocated into a protective case mounted on the side of the Dr. Kate museum. From the earlier photos on RoadsideAmerica.com, I'm not even sure it's the same penny.

August 2007: It's not the same penny! We spoke with the folks at the Dr Kate Pelham Newcomb Museum. They confirm that a large penny is indeed mounted on their outside wall -- but that the much larger Big Penny is still standing a block away, in the same spot where it's been since 1954. "The Big Penny is alive and well," we were told. "It's in fine shape." They encourage anyone visiting the Penny to walk a block to 2nd and Hemlock to see the Museum (open M-F 11-4 in the summer) and watch Dr Kate's videotaped appearance on This Is Your Life.
