As of August 2020, the Spider made from an old VW Beetle is still standing! If you are in the area it is worth a drive by.

We drove back and forth through where it was supposed to be located and could not find this.

VW Bug on Spider-Legs

This is a painted VW Bug, supported by an odd framework made to look like spider's legs. It is sitting in the parking lot of what was once, probably, an auto body shop of some sort, but looks to be abandoned and closed up. I've passed by it many times over the years, as it has been there a long time. Odd and strange for sure!
