Center of the Universe
Pretty town. Awful flies. Center of the Universe.
For being so center-y of the universe, they sure thought I was odd to go out in the street and photograph this manhole cover. A group of older gentlemen were sitting staring at me the entire time I dashed out into traffic to get a photo. You'd think they'd be use to it.
Four blue signs, one on each corner, point to the middle of the street and say "Center of the Universe."
If you need help finding this location, just stop at the visitor center during business hours off of I-90 for a plethora of local information. That was where I learned that Wallace was also the setting of Dante's Peak. (The giant movie poster was a hint.)

Wallace is a fun little town. This manhole cover is vaguely interesting, but the train station and other attractions are great! Nice stop on Hwy 90.
