Saw the Water Douser, as the locals call it. Dedicated in July 1996, the sculpture reminds the folks how important water is in this desert steppe region of Washington.

The surprising Douglas County Museum is full of a variety of interesting things. Located in Waterville, the county seat for Douglas. Only open during summer months -- basically Memorial day through Labor day. It's in an interesting area mix of wheat farms and sagebrush, erratics and coulees.
Has a cool statue of a dowser outside created by sculptor Richard Beyer.
