A community organization in the Georgetown section of Seattle is repairing the long neglected Hat 'n Boots gas station. The Georgetown Community Council has raised some fund and recruited volunteers to restore the two buildings and move them to a more attractive space in a public park up the road.
... [09/09/2001] Complete News StoryGood news! It would appear that hat and boots will definitely be saved from demolition. They will be moved from the current location off Marginal Way to a new park nearby, repainted, and repaired.
