Dr. Rootbeer's Hall of Foam closed in March of 2011. Jerome Gundrum, "Dr. Rootbeer," says he is closing up shop after seven years in business to put his energy into getting well following a cancer diagnosis, according to a press release.
[Carmen, 04/25/2011]Great place. We met Dr. Rootbeer and enjoyed the root beer and Sweet Sassafras BBQ sandwich. Lots of Root Beer memorabilia. We took home a six pack of his specialty root beer.
