So moving! It's not only in memory of the Vietnam War, but also of the Korean War and war in general. Although the sculptures are in metal and somewhat abstract, each has an emotional impact, and I stand there crying or praying or just being moved by the poignancy of the sculptures. I've been there three times and will go again whenever I go to Mount Shasta.

A very nice memorial, actually for all California verterans. A walkable and ADA accessible maze of free form sculptures. There are also some headstones worth pondering.
[L. Dillon, 08/03/2011]Just north of town on highway 97, up near Mt Shasta is the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. A monument to Vietnam and Korean War vets. This place is quite isolated and especially nice when there is some snow on the ground.
