Paul looks like a lost member of the Village People.
[Kim Wheeler, 09/05/2013]
Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are on Hwy 36, west of Susanville, CA. Small town with the friendliest people we had met. There was a woman at the visitors center that told us all about the town and the logging industry the created the town. They get over 8 ft of snow in the winter. Paul and Babe had just received a new coat of paint a few days before we got there.
[June, 11/03/2007]Red River Lumber Company invented Paul Bunyan -- they also built the town of Westwood, in Lassen County California where the Chamber of Commerce had a giant wooden statue of Babe the Blue Ox and Paul Bunyan installed a few years ago.
