Sharp-eyed visitors will notice funny little visual gags hidden in the model scenes by its builders, who are curious to see if the museum's patrons are paying attention. Take your time and look closely! Newly opened last year for Balboa Park's centennial is a little model railroad garden in the very back of the museum. This garden replicates some of Balboa Park's best-known structures, and you just might get to push a few buttons....
