We enjoyed Skellville -- the garden store was open then, and had some unusual items available. We had a blast with the skeleton exhibit.

Wow! The other tips don't do it justice! The owner wasn't there, but the displays were open. Remarkable folk art. Weird. The skeletons....

As a collector of "stuff," I always appreciate other people's collections, and this is no exception. We even got a small skull souvenir. Great stop!

We visited Skellville and were pleasantly surprised. The owner was really only expecting a donation, not a fixed amount. He made a concrete skull for my son on the spot, which we bought for $9.99. My boys (17, 13, 11) were amused by traipsing through the skeletons, which are decidedly run down. Owner was friendly and chatty. Be prepared to hang around for a while.
