This is a pretty cool historic marker -- UFO folks have been trying to get this event noted on a historic marker. Finally happened! Lincoln NH, The New Hampshire Department of Historical Resources has installed a marker on Route 3 in Lincoln NH, near the northern end of the property of Indian Head Resort. The marker commemorates the Betty and Barney Hill UFO Incident, the first widely reported UFO abduction in the United States. The marker is positioned just across from cottage #20 at Indian Head Resort, which is the last property that the Hills remember before experiencing a period of "lost" time while driving to their home in Portsmouth NH on the evening of September 19, 1961.
