Short but very steep hike on the way to the monument. No signs on the trail; follow the most worn path and you'll get there.

A very steep climb, but it only took ten minutes from the parking lot, and I am way out of shape. Ascend uneven railroad tie steps to get to a well-trod dirt path. Stay to the right at both forks in the path. Goes up, then down, then up again to the monument overlooking a busy highway. You might think that the lower path you see on the way out leads to the parking lot. It does not. Head back up the hill from whence you came.
