Gator Country

Gator Country's Big Al is no longer the biggest gator in Texas. His next-pond neighbor is now Big Tex, seven inches longer at 13 feet 11 inches. The many other gators live in one of four group ponds. Gator Country has a gift shop and a concessions building.

A giant man-made alligator greets visitors coming into Beaumont on I-10. It can be seen from the highway. It is right at the FM365 exit.

Gator Country - Home of Big Al

Come a bit before the gator demonstration begins to see the gators. The park consists of five ponds and can be toured in less then a half hour.
