[Kim, 07/11/2016]The Wahkpa Chu'gn buffalo jump is an ancient Native American kill site dating back 2,000 years. It is a non-sterile archaeological dig that allows viewers to get up close to history, even allowing them to handle certain artifacts. It is very unique and incredibly educational.
[Jillian, 12/22/2009]Several exhibit houses on the kill site show layers of accumulated buffalo bones. There are tipis and mannequins on the site. According to the attraction's literature: "Visitors are given an opportunity to try their hand in 'killing' a mock buffalo" silhouette using a spear-like weapon called an atlatl.
