This car is a 1939 Mercedes Benz G4 Offener Touring Wagon. It has original upholstery and minimal restoration. A museum docent told me that with all of the bullet-proof metal the car weighs about 9,000 lbs. This car was delivered to Hitler in late 1939 and used by him in Ober Salzberg, Berlin and Poland.
