Seattle, Washington: Pink Elephant Car Wash (In Transition)

A rotating pink elephant spritzing itself with its trunk -- mascot of the Elephant Super Car Wash -- had been a Seattle landmark on Battery St. since 1956. Nov. 2020: building demolished, sign moved for preservation to Museum of History and Industry.

The car wash is being demolished and the sign is now gone and moving to the Museum of History and Industry.
