Earlier wooden sign, possibly made by Boy Scouts, replaced with a modern sign in the 2010s. Still better than most 45th Parallel signs.

- Directions:
- I-75 exit 282. Drive west on Hwy 32/W. Main St. for four miles, then turn left onto Hayes-Tower Rd. Drive south for two miles. The sign will be on the left, just past a gated dirt road.

Rustic 45th Parallel Marker
Freshly painted and can be clearly can seen next to Highway 27. There is a little driveway to pull off and park; great for a photo op. It's a better photo spot than the green highway sign on I-75.

[Mike, 09/20/2010]There is a sign on Old 27 just south of town marking the 45th parallel. There may also be one on I-75 marking it also.
