Drive to the end. The monument stands outside the gates of the Commonwealth Edison State Line Generating Plant.

A battered, 16-foot-tall obelisk, placed in 1838, marks the north end of the state line between Illinois and Indiana. It was moved here in 1988, and declared a Chicago landmark in 2002.
