Muffler Man - Gone
I lived in RI for 27 years and know of only one Muffler Man there. He was a Halfwit and part of the mini golf course at Rocky Point Amusement Park. The park closed after many years in 1996 and all of its contents were auctioned off. There were people from all over the US who came in for the salvage sale. Who he wandered off with and where he is now is a mystery. At last sight he was holding a golf club.
On a side note, the carousel from Rocky Point was bought by the owner of Dairy World in Cranston and is operated right along side his milk museum.
