The Museum of Bad Art is once again homeless. It was forced to vacate its space in the basement of the Somerville Theater -- as it was forced to vacate its previous space in the basement of the Dedham Community Theatre -- when management decided that the basement could be put to more profitable use.
Original artworks such as "Spewing Rubik's Cubes" and "Bone-Juggling Dog in a Hula Skirt" are again out of public view, and MOBA director Louise Sacco told us that the museum's preference is to find a space in the Boston area near mass transit and open to the public on weekends. If you have a big basement with empty walls, please let her know.
[RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 04/10/2019]The basement of the Somerville Theatre has served as an additional Museum of Bad Art exhibition area since May 2008.
