Opened in May 2022 as a pie shop, interior features Top Gun memorabilia and Maverick's motorcycle out front for a photo op. Located next to the pier. No purchase necessary to see.
[Clark W, 06/12/2022]The exterior of the house has been completely restored. The hotel that now owns the house has plans to restore the interior and open it as a candy and ice cream/desert place. Future plans may also include being able to rent the house as a wedding venue (Note that this was a verbal information given to me by hotel personnel).

House is being restored as the showpiece of a large hotel development right across the street from a pier. No mention of an ice cream shop, but the renovations appear consistent with that destiny. Currently not accessible but should be open very soon. Corner of Mission and Pacific.
[Clark W, 05/22/2021]The house stands on part of a construction site where two buildings are being built. It is completely fenced in. There is no access, and there are tools and trash on the porch of the house.
[Frank, 08/17/2020]
The house is currently painted yellow, and surrounded by... an empty lot.
