Those Presidents' Heads are coming up. Just across the street from Water Country as stated before. If you come quickly you won't have to pay a dime to see them. You can see them from I-64.
[Debbie Chandler, 01/20/2004]Alas, in another blow to Virginians' understated grace and gentility... a Williamsburg businessman is funding the construction of incredibly large busts of every President. It looks like they'll eventually be hidden away at a special Presidential Park in York County, a fate far different from the businessman's original proposal: to place the busts and a 94-foot statue of George Washington along both sides of I-64! Some were on display in Buena Vista, VA (in the Shenendoah Valley, near Lexington), and a friend reported some on display in Norfolk this past summer.
I don't know where they are on display currently, but sometime soon, we'll all get to gaze up at a strange American version of Easter Island.

This is a good one. The first wave of white concrete President heads have been rolling around Virginia for six months. Each of the 41 heads stand 16 to 18-ft tall above their pedestals. The George W. is planned to be 92-ft. tall. They are intended for a "Presidential Park," slated for construction across from Water Country USA in Williamsburg until lack of proper permits forced them into storage and temporary exhibits in the region. Three are appearing in Buena Vista until at least November.
