- Tiny marker, easy to miss. On the north side of US-151/E. Washington Ave., just west of its intersection with N. Stoughton Rd, at the edge of a car dealership parking lot. Park in the lot of the abandoned building on the corner of US-151/E. Washington Ave. and Rowland Ave.; that's the lot where the fight actually took place!

A small monument marks the spot where, on June 24, 1977, Elvis Presley stopped at a gas station, assumed a karate stance, and broke up a fight.

You can see the marker in front of the pick-ups. It is not as cared for as it once was. Most of the silver is faded off.

The Elvis Fight site marker is not looking too good. The engraved plastic plaque is deteriorating and becoming difficult to read. It's a great story of 1977 Fat Elvis jumping out of his limo and showing off his karate moves! Check it out while you still can.

The original plaque on the marker vanished in 2018. Let's hope that its replacement is securely attached, and that the ghost of Elvis is haunting whoever took the first one.
