The chapel was unlocked -- I went in and a woman who appeared to be sleeping sitting up had her tube top dress pulled down (probably due to the heat). Perhaps a homeless person. I quickly closed the door and left. She did open the door (fully covered) as I was getting in my car, but I just left, not wanting to disturb her solace. Just beware of who may be utilizing this open place.
[Donna Kester, 09/05/2023]The outdoor chapel is closed for maintenance until further notice as of April 2021.

Very quiet (except, of course, for the constancy of I-45 traffic 200 feet to the east). Someone has referred to it as eerie. Maybe. Certainly lonely and seemingly secluded (again, except for highway proximity). A damp, dreary day added to the remote feel.
[Steven Reis, 10/26/2019]Very eerie and weird. Two buildings are locked. The "chapel" is an open area and next to it is an area with some potatoes, cherry tomatoes and cherries in packages in the heat.

I have finally been sent help to maintain The Church at Texas property and again apologize for not maintaining it because of my health. There are yellow lotus plants in the one-acre lake and also the outdoor chapel for solace and peace in a time of your turmoil.
