Dawsonville, Georgia: 300 Roos - Kangaroo Conservation Center (Closed)
Claims to have the "Largest Kangaroo Mob outside Australia." On Fridays and Saturdays, visitors can ride in the Kanga-Ranger Truck.

- From Dawsonville drive northwest on Hwy 136 for six miles, then turn right and drive north on Bailey-Waters Rd/Hwy 342. The Kangaroo Center entrance will quickly appear on the right.

Where else can you go to see over 300 Kangaroos? They say they have the "Largest Kangaroo Mob outside Australia." I'm sure that's true!
You can't pet them, (although they let us pet one named Oliva through the fence) but you can either walk around the huge property and take photos or you can opt to ride their "Kanga-Ranger" truck (Friday or Saturday only) and get a narrated tour of the whole facility. We saw one female with a baby Joey in her pouch!
