These busts certainly caught me by surprise as I had not been staying on top of my roadside attractions after Wall Drug. Definitely a must see...you don't run across 15 ft. tall busts of presidents every day.

Three Big President Busts

Three large Presidential busts, about 15 feet high, look like they've recently been put in place. They stand in front of the Rockin' R Saloon & Steakhouse on South Dakota Hwy 79. Do you think they were to be called "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly?" Probably not.

Until we hear otherwise, we assume these are the same three giant heads -- JFK, Reagan, GWB -- that sat near Mt. Rushmore south of Rapid City to advertise Presidents Park in Lead.
