Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada: UFO Crashed Here: Sign and Museum

On the dark night of October 4, 1967, a 60-foot-long something with flashing lights crashed into the waters off of Shag Harbour. Now there's a museum and a marker, but the UFO is still missing.

Hwy 3, Shag Harbour, NS, Canada
The small museum is in town, at the former Bon Portage General Store. The sign is on Hwy 3, about 2.5 kilometers west of town. It's on the land side, with an arrow pointing across the road toward the water: "Site of 1967 UFO Incident."
Museum open June-Sep. Local health policies may affect hours and access.

UFO Crashed Here: Sign and Museum

Visit the Centre to view personal eyewitness documents, newspaper articles, other memorabilia. The Centre holds a conference in early October for UFOLOGISTS. The UFO Gazebo and picnic site can be found about 3 minutes west, on highway #3 from the Centre. You can look out on the ocean to the location where the object crashed. The docent the day we were there was an eyewitness.
